Today is the start of our Summer book study!!!! WooHoo! So excited about reading through The Emotionally Healthy Woman by Geri Scazzero with you this Summer. Don’t worry if you don’t have the book yet, we are happy to just have you following along with us. But I HIGHLY recommend purchasing. It is an amazing, powerful, and challenging book.  Each Monday we will post the assignments for the week for those who are reading along. I also recommend having a journal handy to write some verses, reflections, and responses. 

Before we get started, I just wanted to let you know that we are praying for all of you! If I could reach through the computer, I would give you a big hug and tell you that God is so absolutely delighted in you. He is holding you and will instruct you through this study in His loving kindness.

Week 1 Assignments

READ: Chapter 1

RECITE:

Ephesians 3: 17b-18 “ And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.”

REFLECT:

Do you adjust your words or behaviors for someone’s approval?

How can you ground your identity more in God in less in others?

RESPOND: 

Write in your journal about what you learned from this chapter, questions you have, and write a first person prayer back to God claiming your identity in Him.
